Quadfecta Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026

Summary

Quadfecta is an online multiplayer game, so some information has to travel between your
device and our game server for a game to work. We keep that to the minimum the game needs.
There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking, and we do
not sell or share your information with anyone.

Information you provide

  • Display name. Before joining a game you choose a name that other
players in your room will see. This does not have to be your real name, and we encourage
you to use a nickname. It is stored on your device and sent to our server so the other
players in your room can see whose turn it is.
  • Room code. Games are joined using a short four-character room code.
Room codes are temporary and are not tied to you.

Information the game sends while you play

While a game is in progress, your device and our server exchange the state of that game:
the moves you make, the cards and equipment in play, mission outcomes, and timing. This is
what allows the other players in your room to see the same game as you.

We keep a record of completed games — including the room code, the display names of the
players, the moves made, and whether the mission was won or lost — so that game history can
be shown back to players and so we can investigate problems and improve the game.

Technical information

Like any internet service, our server records basic connection information, including your
device’s IP address, as part of normal operation and security. We do not use this to build a
profile of you.

What we do not do

  • We do not require an account, an email address, or a password.
  • We do not ask for your real name, address, phone number, or date of birth.
  • We do not use analytics or crash-reporting services.
  • We do not show advertising or use advertising identifiers.
  • We do not track you across other apps or websites.
  • We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their
    own purposes.

Children

Quadfecta does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because players
choose their own display name, we ask that younger players use a nickname rather than their
real name.

Deleting your data

Your display name is stored on your device and is removed when you delete the app.

The game records on our server are not tied to an account, an email address, or any
identifier that points to you personally. A display name is chosen freely, is not unique, and
two different people can use the same one. This is deliberate — it means our records say very
little about who you are — but it also means we cannot confirm that someone asking us to
delete “a player’s” games is that player, so we will not delete records on the basis of a
display name alone.

If you want a particular game removed, email us the four-character room code for that game
and roughly when it was played, and we will delete that game’s record. The room code is known
to the people who were in the room, which lets us act on the request without us having to
collect anything more about you.
