RepQuest Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 11, 2026

Summary

RepQuest does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to us. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. The app makes no network connections of its own.

Information the app stores on your device

RepQuest saves your profile (birth date, body weight and unit, and your settings), your max tests, your current week and day for each exercise, and your workout history. This stays on your device and in your own backups, and is never sent to us.

Camera

If you turn on automatic rep counting, RepQuest uses the front camera to count pushups and squats. Your body position is analyzed on the device by Apple’s Vision framework; frames are not recorded, saved, or sent anywhere.

Information handled by Apple

RepQuest uses these Apple services. In each case the data is handled by Apple under Apple’s own privacy policy, and we never receive it:

  • Apple Health (optional). If you allow it, RepQuest saves completed workouts and an estimate of active energy burned to Apple Health, and reads your most recent body weight to keep your profile up to date.
  • Reminders (optional). If you allow it, RepQuest adds a reminder for your next scheduled session of each exercise. It only changes reminders it created itself.
  • iCloud. If you are signed in to iCloud, RepQuest uses Apple’s key-value storage to keep your profile and workout history in sync between your own devices. This data lives in your personal iCloud account. We have no access to it.
  • Apple Watch. During a workout, RepQuest sends the current set, rep count, and rest timer to your paired Apple Watch so you can follow along. The Watch app stores nothing.

What we do not do

  • We do not collect personal information.
  • We do not use analytics or crash-reporting services.
  • We do not show advertising or use advertising identifiers.
  • We do not track you across apps or websites.
  • We do not share, sell, or transfer data to third parties, because we do not hold any.

Health information

RepQuest is a fitness app, not a medical device, and does not provide medical advice. Health data it reads or writes is never used for advertising and never leaves your Apple account through us.

Children

RepQuest does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes the data stored on your device. Synced data can be removed in your device’s iCloud settings. Workouts saved to Apple Health and reminders can be deleted in the Health and Reminders apps.

Changes to this policy
