RepQuest app icon

RepQuest is a bodyweight strength program for pushups, pullups and squats. A max test sets your starting level, then RepQuest schedules progressive workouts, with rest days adjusted for your age. It can count your reps with the camera, read out counts and rest timers, follow along on Apple Watch, and save your workouts to Apple Health.

Getting started

  • Take a max test for each exercise you want to train. RepQuest builds your plan from it.
  • Follow the plan. Each session shows your sets and targets; rest timers run between sets.
  • Retest when the plan asks, and your levels move up.

Common questions

How does camera counting work? Prop your iPhone up facing you. RepQuest watches your body position on the device and counts pushups and squats. Nothing is recorded or uploaded.

Do workouts show up in the Fitness app? Yes, if you turn on Apple Health in Settings. Workouts are saved as strength training with an estimate of active energy.

Does my progress sync between devices? Yes, through your own iCloud account when you’re signed in on each device. You can also export and import your data as a file from Settings.

What does the Apple Watch app do? It mirrors the current workout (set, reps and rest timer) with haptic taps, so you can leave your phone propped up.
